With the new Emergency Response Vehicle, resources will now reach people in need even before a natural disaster happens.

Shipt is proud to partner with the American Red Cross of the Alabama-Mississippi Region and be an active player in strengthening community resilience and disaster preparedness across the Southeast region. In the latest evolution of our longtime partnership, Shipt and the American Red Cross proudly came together last week to unveil a new Shipt-sponsored Emergency Response Vehicle.

This new Emergency Response Vehicle and its state-of-the-art technology will enable Red Cross volunteers and staff to deliver essential services such as food, water, and relief supplies to those affected by emergencies. In addition to the life-saving resources, it will ensure that people across Birmingham and the Southeast receive the timely and compassionate care they need during their most challenging moments.

In addition to the contribution of the Shipt-sponsored Emergency Response Vehicle, Shipt HQ members also came together for the bi-annual blood drive. Blood donation is an act of compassion that can literally save lives, with each donation having the ability to help individuals in a crisis.
