Kamau Witherspoon

Chief Executive Officer

As chief executive officer of Shipt, Kamau Witherspoon leads the company’s continued growth as an innovator in retail technology, a retail and brand strategic partner and a people-centric employer. A purpose-driven leader, Kamau joined Shipt in early 2022 with more than 25 years of experience in high-growth industries, including retail, health care and food service/restaurants.

Kamau’s past leadership positions include senior vice president of Operational Performance and Readiness at UnitedHealthcare, chief restaurant excellence officer at the KFC US division of Yum! Brands and, most recently, senior vice president of Operations at Target. In that role, he led the company’s operational planning and prioritization, partner operations, merger and acquisition integration and process improvement initiatives across the global supply chain, stores and properties. He also held a variety of roles at Target, including store operations, finance, property management and real estate. Kamau started his career proudly serving as an officer in the United States Navy, where he achieved the rank of lieutenant commander.

Kamau is a graduate of Morehouse College (B.A.) and Old Dominion University (M.B.A.). He serves on the NNN REIT (NYSE: NNN) board of directors, where he is a member of the Audit and Governance and Nominating committees. Kamau is also a member of the Executive Leadership Council, a founding board member of the Invictus Career Institute and serves on the board of The Lifting As We Climb Foundation. He and his family reside in Shipt’s hometown of Birmingham, Alabama.

Chris Falk

Chief Operating Officer

Chris Falk, chief operating officer of Shipt, leads the dynamic operational engine that powers the company's growth and high-quality service. Driven by a vision to make Shipt's marketplace and last-mile delivery platform effortless, reliable and rewarding, he oversees day-to-day operations to ensure seamless experiences for the entire community, including customers, shoppers, drivers and retailers.

Chris spent four years as Shipt’s chief financial officer, leading Shipt’s finance team, where he gained a deep understanding of how every piece of the business works. Now as COO, he is applying that knowledge directly to Shipt’s operations.

Prior to joining Shipt, Chris spent 12 years at Target. He was a senior director in financial planning and analysis at Target, leading teams responsible for the company’s strategic financial planning processes and management of financial statements. Chris also maintains an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license and worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers within their Assurance practice.

Chris sits on the board of the Economic Development Partnership of Alabama (EDPA) and the board of the Community Food Bank of Central Alabama. He is also a graduate of Leadership Birmingham (Class of 2005).

He earned a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Oregon. He and his family proudly reside in Shipt’s hometown of Birmingham, Alabama.

Smrutha Ipparthi

Chief Technology & Product Officer

Smrutha Ipparthi is the chief technology and product officer at Shipt. She plays a vital role in ensuring Shipt's continued leadership in the technology retail sector. Smrutha is responsible for shaping Shipt’s user experience and infrastructure, aligning product development with innovative technological advancements and enhancing the overall experience for customers, shoppers and partners.

Smrutha also oversees the integration of technology solutions throughout the company's operations, harnessing emerging technologies to optimize processes and driving strategic initiatives to enhance the digital shopping experience.

Smrutha previously served as chief product officer at Shipt, where she spearheaded the development of successful product offerings. Prior to joining Shipt, she led mobile app, marketing and merchandising teams at Macy’s and served as vice president of e-commerce at MGM Resorts International.

Smrutha holds a bachelor of engineering degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth University.

Alia Kemet

Alia Kemet
Chief Marketing Officer

As chief marketing officer of Shipt, Alia oversees all areas of marketing, including brand and culture, creative, experience strategy, consumer insights and loyalty.

Alia joined Shipt in 2022, bringing decades of marketing expertise from previous positions at Ikea, Frank's RedHot and McCormick & Co. She holds several leadership and service roles within the advertising industry, including the National Advertising Review Board, Brand Innovators National Leadership Council and University of Maryland Flex MBA Advisory Council.

She is actively involved in community organizations, including Top Ladies of Distinction Inc., Girl Scouts Council of America and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. She is also a member of the Maryland Food Bank board of directors.

Alia proudly served as a 2025 Cannes Lion Creative Commerce Juror. She was named a 2024 Top Woman in Grocery, honored on the 2024 Forbes Entrepreneurial CMO list and AdAge’s Leading Women Class of 2021. She was also named Adweek’s 2021 Brand Leader of the Year.

She produced her own personal podcast, “Phenomenal Grit – Career Conversations for Women of Color,” and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Howard University.

Stephanie Revish

Stephanie Revish
Chief Financial Officer

Stephanie Revish is the chief financial officer at Shipt, where she serves as a critical strategic partner in driving profitable growth and long-term value creation. She oversees all accounting, finance and financial planning functions for the organization.

Before joining Shipt, Stephanie was the vice president of Financial Planning & Analysis at Target. In that role, she directed the enterprise-wide investment strategy and was directly responsible for optimizing and prioritizing more than $4 billion in annual capital expenditure to strengthen the company’s core business and accelerate strategic market positioning across Target’s portfolio of nearly 2,000 stores. Prior to Target, she held diverse financial and strategic leadership roles at organizations including Cardinal Health, Henry Schein and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).

A passionate advocate for belonging and mentorship, Stephanie has been recognized with the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association Luminary Award. She is deeply connected to The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business, serving on the Dean's Advisory Council and having previously received both the Professional Achievement Award and Alumnus of the Year Award. Stephanie is also a respected graduate of Leadership Columbus.

Stephanie holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in accounting from The Ohio State University and is an inactive certified public accountant. She resides in Columbus, Ohio, with her husband, Jerome, and their two daughters.

Linda Seal

Chief Legal & Public Affairs Officer

Linda Seal is the chief legal and public affairs officer at Shipt, where she serves as a strategic leader guiding the company through the complex intersection of law, policy and public perception. She directs a comprehensive portfolio encompassing legal strategy, compliance, insurance, government relations, and corporate communications.

Prior to joining Shipt in 2021, Linda held senior positions at The Home Depot, Office Depot and SBA Communications Corp. She has more than 25 years of experience partnering with leaders and boards across multiple industries, including technology, retail, wholesale, distribution and telecommunications.

Linda is a board trustee for Oakwood University and a board member for the Birmingham Business Alliance. She also volunteers with American Corporate Partners and other nonprofit organizations.

Linda earned her Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, her Bachelor of Science degree from Oakwood College, now known as Oakwood University and a Mini-MBA Certificate from the University of Georgia. She is an IAPP Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US).

Katie Stratton

Chief Growth Officer

As Shipt’s first-ever chief growth and strategy officer, Katie Stratton guides the company as it matures into its next strategic, growth-focused phase – and leads a dynamic organization that includes strategy and innovation, business development, business capabilities, Shipt Media, partner sales and success, innovation, site merchandising and catalog operations.

Prior to joining Shipt, Katie spent 11 years at Meta in a variety of CPG & retail leadership roles, including five years as their head of U.S. dining and delivery ad sales. In her most recent position at Meta, she oversaw sales and strategy for the Facebook and Instagram national sales team that achieved substantial growth. She also worked in the creative agency world, managing Auto advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi before leading Global Business for both Cadillac and Unilever at Bartle Bogle Hegarty.

Katie earned a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University and is a proud founding board member of Rutgers Business School's Center for Women in Business.

Ricardo Vargas

As chief people & community officer at Shipt, Ricardo Vargas oversees all aspects of human resources, talent strategy, culture and community impact—aligning Shipt’s people strategy with its purpose of sparking connections that show why every person counts.

Ricardo joined Shipt in June 2025 after 14 years with Target, where he built a broad leadership portfolio spanning field operations, human resources and enterprise functions. He held HR leadership roles in Pay & Benefits (focusing on compensation), as a strategic business partner to Finance, Target Enterprise Services and Global Supply Chain HQ and leading the Learning & Development business partner function.

He began his career at Target, leading stores and frontline teams in Wisconsin before serving as a human resources director for 69 stores and more than 10,000 team members across Michigan, Indiana and Ohio, deepening his expertise in navigating operational complexity while keeping people at the center.

Ricardo earned a bachelor’s degree in business and human resources and leadership from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is a certified executive coach through the International Coaching Federation. He lives in Minnesota with his wife, three children and their Boston Terrier.
