PCC Community Markets Partners With Shipt For Local Delivery Service
Co-op expands delivery options to include Shipt same-day, home delivery
PCC Community Markets (PCC), one of Seattle’s original grocers and the largest community-owned food market in the U.S. and same-day delivery marketplace Shipt today announce a new partnership bringing a new grocery delivery option to PCC customers across the Puget Sound area. Starting today, customers can now easily access PCC’s selection of products that meet the highest standards in the country. PCC products are made without harmful artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners, nanotechnology or synthetic biology. And with fresh and quality products at their fingertips, customers can depend on Shipt shoppers to deliver their trusted PCC items directly to their door in as soon as one hour.
“PCC is committed to providing exceptional products and experiences for our customers – whether that’s in our stores or getting our trusted products delivered to their door,” said PCC Senior Vice President of Merchandising and Marketing, Darrell Vannoy. “Partnering with Shipt and their people-first philosophy aligns with our vision to inspire the health and well-being of our community. We are excited to bring this convenient option to both of our customers.”
“We’re excited to partner with PCC to bring locally sourced, authentic and fresh ingredients from the Pacific Northwest directly to our customers’ doors,” said Rina Hurst, Chief Business Officer at Shipt. “By removing grocery shopping from their to-do lists, customers will have time to focus on more important things. They can rely on Shipt’s community of shoppers, known for going above and beyond, to provide a personalized shopping experience – shopping the PCC aisles, carefully selecting each item just as they would for themselves.”
After building their PCC order, customers will schedule their delivery, and a Shipt Shopper responsible for fulfilling and ensuring accurate delivery will bring it directly to their door in as soon as one hour.
With Shipt’s latest product features, Dietary Preferences and Preferred Shoppers, PCC customers can rely on Shipt and its community of personal shoppers to bring a personalized shopping experience unlike any other. New customers can sign up and learn about availability in their area by visiting shipt.com/pcc-markets or by downloading the Shipt app.
For a limited time, new customers can receive $50 off Shipt’s annual membership (regularly $99, now $49 with this offer) now through January 14 by visiting http://shipt.com/offer and entering code 4D27978717F. And, just announced this fall, eligible U.S. Visa credit cardholders can enroll their Visa consumer credit card to receive free Shipt membership1 – which comes with free delivery on Shipt marketplace orders over $35.
