Over 100 Organizations have received Shipt’s Community Impact Grants: Here are the Latest.

At a Glance: Shipt 2026 Community Impact Grants

  • Milestone Funding: Shipt has now awarded 100 Community Impact Grants, totaling over $1.6 million since launching the initiative in 2022.

  • 2026 Cohort: The newest round provides funding to 18 fresh food organizations across the country, consisting of 12 new grantees and 6 grant renewals across Mobile Markets, Teaching Farms, and Food Hubs.

  • Cumulative Community Impact: Since 2022, Shipt-supported organizations have supplied over 5.3 million meals and served nearly 1.2 million food-insecure individuals.

This year, Shipt is proud to mark a milestone of 100 Community Impact grants given, totaling over $1.6 million to date. Today we’re excited to share the 18 Mobile Markets, Teaching Farms, and Food Hubs are added to this list of local solutions helping to bridge the gap between fresh food sources and the more than 48 million people across the country experiencing food insecurity.

Mobile Markets, Teaching Farms, and Food Hubs act as critical anchors in communities to bridge gaps and introduce neighbors to local food sources. From providing hands-on education to connecting local farmers with new local market opportunities, this cohort of Shipt grantees are all helping to ensure that fresh, nutritious food is accessible regardless of zip code.

There’s no single solution to solving food insecurity and every community’s needs are different, which is why we’re proud to support organizations throughout various stages of their journey.

  • Seed Tier: One year of funding up to $10,000

  • Growth Tier: One year of funding up to $20,000

  • Rooted Tier: Two years of funding up to $35,000 annually

We believe that at Shipt, we’re uniquely positioned to leverage our logistical infrastructure to connect people to food and invest in the local organizations doing the work on the ground.

“Shipt continues to remain focused on investing in the communities we serve, and we believe that we can do that best by investing in those already nearest to their neighbors,” said Shipt VP of Culture and Community Khadijah Abdullah. “Community organizations across our country are partnering to feed their neighbors and localize their food sources. We’re proud to play a small part in scaling that impact to help build healthier, more resilient communities.”

Grant Recipients

In addition to the 12 Teaching Farms, Mobile Markets, and Food Hubs receiving new grants from Shipt this year, six past grantees will receive a second year of support to deepen their impact.
