Shipt Rolls Out New Community Impact & Innovation Grant Program

Shipt launches its Community Impact & Innovation grant program to support organizations working to build healthier, resilient and more equitable communities

Shipt is committed to cultivating partnerships and investing in programs focused on leveling the economic playing field for African-American/Black and other underrepresented populations, expanding access for African-American/Black-owned businesses and narrowing the food insecurity gap in our communities. In doing so we are offering micro-grants to organizations throughout the U.S. addressing these concerns.

Staying true to our company’s mission to “spark the connections that show why every person counts” we are looking to partner with nonprofit and community based organizations that are innovating and focusing their efforts to address food insecurity and economic mobility.

The micro-grants range from $1,000 to $25,000 and are available to organizations serving communities across our market.

“We are excited to continue our commitment to advance equity initiatives and address food insecurity in the communities we serve. We are specifically interested in partnering with nonprofits doing high impact and innovative work aligned with our key pillars,” said Shipt’s VP of Economic and Social Impact Khadijah Abdullah.
