Introducing Shipt’s New Chat to Cart Feature
Shipt is teaming up with Perplexity, the AI-powered answer engine, to make shopping even more seamless and personalized with its Comet browser
To keep to-do lists streamlined and the mental load easy to tackle, Shipt is further simplifying the shopping experience by teaming up with Perplexity as the company launches its new Comet browser. This connection helps customers build their carts for same-day delivery by encouraging discovery of new and trending products, while also suggesting items that may have been forgotten.
Shipt saves members, on average, about eight hours each month by connecting them with dedicated shoppers who carefully fulfill orders and deliver items to customers’ doors. Now, Shipt is reducing the cognitive load of cart-building and shaving additional time from the shopping process, seamlessly powering product discovery and cart curation with Comet, the browser from Perplexity.

While another may want to modify the ingredients of a recipe that feeds eight down to two perfect portions for date night. Finally, customers select their delivery window and check out. They’re paired with a shopper with Shipt, who will fulfill and deliver their order during the window they select.
