Ten Fresh Food Organizations Join Shipt’s LadderUp™ Accelerator Program
As a technology company that connects people to the things they need, we’ve always believed that Shipt is uniquely positioned to help reduce barriers to food access. We’re proud to announce the fourth cohort of our LadderUp™ Accelerator Program, which will help ten new fresh food organizations scale their impact.
In addition to a $5k grant, participants will gain something many have told us is even more valuable: mentorship, education, and a peer set of fellow community leaders who have walked in their footsteps. LadderUp’s unique cohort model creates the opportunity for peers to learn from one another, and from our curriculum of industry experts over the eight-week program.
Campbell's Market Basket of East Lansing, Michigan told us last year:
“This program opened our eyes to just how much there is to learn — in the best way possible. It was a valuable reminder that growth as a small business depends on staying curious, continuously learning, and keeping an open mind about industry trends and changes”
With over 48 million people in the US facing food insecurity, the work these organizations are doing in their communities is critically important, and Shipt is proud to help support them.
