Shipt, a leading same-day delivery marketplace, today announced it will begin same-day delivery of an assortment of groceries and household essentials from various retailers including Target and Northgate Market in the San Diego metro area. Beginning Nov. 1, members will be able to shop fresh foods and household essentials from multiple retailers, in addition to an assortment of product categories that are unique to each retailer, such as beer and wine from Target and fresh, authentic Hispanic products from Northgate Market.
Shipt’s growth in San Diego gives more than one million households across the metro area access to products delivered by Shipt in as soon as one hour. Shipt’s recent launches throughout the state of California offers a total of 11 million households across the state access to same-day delivery from Shipt. To celebrate the announcement, new Shipt members in San Diego who sign up before launch will receive an annual membership for $49 (regularly $99).

Members must be at least 21 years old to order or accept alcohol deliveries, and will be required to present identification upon delivery.
