Mercatus and Shipt Partner to Bring Last-Mile Delivery to Grocers

Online grocery innovators partner to connect major retailers with consumers through seamless shopping and delivery experience

Mercatus, a leading provider in digital solutions for grocery, today at Shoptalk announced that it has partnered with Shipt, a leading online same-day delivery platform. The partnership will enable a turnkey solution, bringing personalized shopping and last-mile delivery capabilities to independent and regional grocers through Shipt. 

With this partnership, Mercatus-equipped retailers will be capable of creating a streamlined, start-to-finish shopping process on their websites and the Shipt marketplace, complemented by reliable and personalized delivery from Shipt. By doing so, retailers will be able to offer delivery without investing resources and time towards implementing their own infrastructure. This seamless experience via the retailer’s digital properties will allow for access to more customer data and improved customer loyalty.

By teaming with Mercatus, Shipt, will gain a new, expansive network of grocery retailers and have the opportunity to serve more consumers, expanding its already robust footprint in retail. With the addition of this network of grocers, Shipt will provide delivery from various retail verticals in as soon as one hour, from grocery to drug and convenience, and offer customers a one-stop shop experience.
